Job Title: Business Development Officer


Job Description:

The Business Development Officer is responsible for the direct implementation of business development strategies on an operational level. He/she is also responsible for overseeing all business-related activities for the company, the conduct of business process analysis and management; provision of critical feedback to, and in coordination with, higher management in the development, presentation, and implementation of business development strategies.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Develop and maintain a U.S. client data base by identifying prospective accounts and pursuing leads within a targeted market.
  2.  Promote and sell the Dedicated Rep, Inc. business with primary focus on offshore services (BPO, Call Center, SEO).
  3. Contact regular and prospective customers to introduce the company, promote Dedicated Rep, Inc.’s service offering, close and/or negotiate deals, ensure delivery of services, and actively participate in sales collection.
  4. Assist in the overall sales management of the service/product assigned, sales product cycle, operational procedures, suppliers, and after-sales support such as inquiries and concerns.
  5. Leverage and grow network within industry or geography to gain market awareness and visibility.
  6. Assist in the training and coaching of new sales team members.
  7. Ensure achievement of sales objectives/quotas set.
  8. Perform all other tasks assigned by management from time to time.


Qualifications:

A.  Education/Knowledge:
  • Preferably graduate of a business-related course
  • An MBA is an advantage, but not required

B.  Skills/Competency:
  • Outstanding presentation and communication skills – excellent English articulation, grammar and comprehension; natural conversationalists have an advantage.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and process high volume of detailed work within a short time frame.
  • Must be a self starter, full of drive and confidence; as well as professional and self-managing.
  • Creative, willing to learn and adjust to the new, fast changing environment of foreign companies.

C.  Work Experience:
  • 2-3 years of successful sales experience (preferably in the service industries) with a focus on prospecting, cold calling, presentation, follow-up, negotiation, and closing business opportunities with top-level foreign executives.
