Job Title: Copywriter/Content Developer


Job Description:

The Copywriter/Content Developer is responsible for composing compelling, concise, and persuasive copy for different audiences and industries in order to attain successful ranking results using Search Engine Optimization and other techniques. He/she is also tasked to produce copy for Dedicated Rep, Inc. communications and collaterals.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Develop an innovative blog strategy for the company and its respective clients.
  2. Develop a variety of branded posts for inclusion in relevant blog communities.
  3. Post and promote the company in a non-marketing manner to relevant blogs, boards and chats.
  4. Identify enthusiast groups likely to have affinity for the product; develop relationships with the enthusiast groups.
  5. Actively monitor and track the company’s traction among the blog sites on which you have posted company messages.
  6. Work with relevant teams to learn about and anticipate marketing efforts.
  7. Be a key member of a small marketing team.
  8. Perform other copy writing tasks assigned to him/her from time to time.


Qualifications:

A.  Education/Knowledge:
  • No degree necessary, but must be a prolific writer
  • Knowledge of blogging communities and an active user of blogs
  • Knowledge of Search Engine Optimization including directory submissions and link
  • Proficient knowledge of blogging software including Wordpress.
  • Knowledge of KEI.
  • Knowledge of SEO specifications necessary for copywriting.

B.  Skills/Competency:
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and as a team.
  • Enthusiastic user of a mobile phone and the internet.

C.  Work Experience:
  • 2-5 years of copywriting experience.
  • Experience with SMS and Internet technologies.
  • Experience as a blogger, blog marketer, or journalist.
