Job Title: E-Commerce SEO Specialist


Job Description:

The E-Commerce SEO Specialist is responsible for the overall development and implementation of Dedicated Rep, Inc.’s E-Commerce strategies, as well as other search engine optimization and marketing activities.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Responsible for the understanding of advertising writing techniques and the setting up of groups and categories.
  2. Manage bids and track conversions.
  3. Manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
  4. Translate clients’ business goals into successful search engine optimization strategies.
  5. Perform technical site analysis, competitive/keyword research, and link analysis.
  6. Optimize various site elements including site structure, link popularity, and copywriting.
  7. Develop ongoing customer reports which yield qualitative and quantitative trends for ongoing SEO efforts.
  8. Establish and maintain project management process to manage multiple SEO projects at one time.
  9. Deliver quality website optimization recommendations, results, and client deliverables.
  10. Work with clients to ensure various tracking elements implemented before campaign launch dates (including code creation, documentation, team communication, and auditing support).
  11. Responsible for understanding shopping and comparison search engines, data feed creation, spec requirements, implementation issues, and QA for various loads.
  12. Help account managers to implement or push ongoing strategic search projects for algorithmic growth
  13. Show continued effort to develop technology skill sets or qualifications.
  14. Stay current with industry best practices and search engine technologies.
  15. Test and analyze keywords, title, and description copy.
  16. Research and evaluate competitors paid search marketing efforts and identify new search opportunities.
  17. Find solutions to increase free traffic to the site through the optimization of website pages.
  18. Search engine and directory submissions.
  19. Submit articles.
  20. Develop and build strategic links.
  21. Implement on-page and off-page optimization techniques.
  22. Monitor and report on activities completed each week.
  23. Creation/modification of content for each page.
  24. Attend meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and organizational development.
  25. Attend training to develop relevant knowledge and skills.
  26. Attain an in-depth knowledge of sports scheduling and search technologies which will maximize return on investment and drive mass traffic.


Qualifications:

A.  Education/Knowledge:
  • Graduate of a 4 year course
  • Proven knowledge of E-Commerce marketing tactics, including e-mail, search engine marketing, performance networks, and affiliate programs
  • Knowledge of search engine optimization tactics
  • Proficiency with MS Office

B.  Skills/Competency:
  • Strong understanding of product development, product management, and project management
  • Strategic mindset, with the ability to analyze complex data and solve problems
  • Excellent negotiation skills and experience in managing partnerships, such as agency relationships
  • Exceptional oral and written communication, leadership, and presentation skills
  • Strong ability in HTML languages with a track record of developing content page templates for seamless implementation and positive SEO traction.

C.  Work Experience:
  • 2-5 years of successful experience in managing marketing programs in an E-Commerce environment
  • Experience in site analytics packages, including developing and interpreting multi-dimensional report statistics
  • Direct PPC experience with Google AdWords, Yahoo! Search Marketing, MSN AdCenter, and other PPC programs is a plus.
  • E-commerce and web marketing experience, including relevant search engine optimization experience
